Veni Vidi Trips app for iPhone and iPad

Veni Vidi Trips is an iPhone app to help you on your next trip or day out. Use it to plan your route, to save interesting locations as favourites and to navigate to them offline.

Plan your route
Simply enter your location and your destination and you will be shown one or more routes to choose from.. The app also gives you an indication of the price of your trip (prices are not available in real-time and may vary from actual prices, however they still give a good indication of the price). Once you have selected one of the routes, you will be able to see detailed information on your selected route. Once you have selected your route, tap save to store the route for later. This will also download the map from your starting point to your destination.

Save interesting locations as favourites
You will see red dots on the map. You can save these locations as favourites. Scroll around a bit and you might come across something interesting. Are you looking for something in particular? Use the search function. You will usually be able to find what you are looking for. If you find something interesting, tap on the star and save the location as a favourite. Do you want more information about the place? Tap on the name to see details about the place. Once you have found all of your locations and saved them as favourites you can start your trip!

Offline navigation
The app allows offline pedestrian navigation to points which are saved as favourites. This means that you can switch your iPhone into airplane mode and enjoy your trip offline.
